"Coming to the Edge has given me the opportunity to apply many skills that I have developed over the years. I support an eco-conscious experience for our guests, whether it be in the gardens, in general maintenance, new development, projects or in the kitchen."

Heather was raised on a farm in Craigleith, ON. It was there where she began to develop her deep respect for nature. Inherently it led her to choose a career "Out of Doors" in an urban Parks Environment.

After many years of being a "weekend warrior in the woods", she decided with her family to move to an area that fulfilled their desire to live more closely with nature and the land near Algonquin Park.

She feels most alive when spending time in nature with her family.
